well now that its winter and all
obviuosly when the laptop sleep, it gets cold cause of the aluminum

but when i put it to sleep, it stays relatively warm on the top left part of the keyboard/speakergrill. its not alarmly hot and the istat temp readings arnt high
but for some reason, before i reformatted this computer after switching HD, the computer used to stay 'cold' during sleep.. almost as if the computer was off...

should be cold as if the computer was turned off. atleast that's how mine is when i put it to sleep.

dammit.. any suggestion to fix this?
i dont wanna reformat again.. -_- i reformatted like 5 times so far

are you sure your mbp is able to enter sleep mode? all the fans, and hard drive should be off during sleep, if they're on than it's not sleeping properly. You should try to reset the pram or SMC? (disconnect your ac charger, pop out the battery and hold the power button for 5 secs than reinstall the battery)

it goes to sleep mode 'well'
i can feel the HD turn off, the indicator light turns on
theres not sleep/waking issue either..
