Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before. I was importing a cd. The first song imported ok, then it started playing, not too loudly or near max but near the middle of what the speakers can put out. I was humming along when all of a sudden this LOUD sound nearly twice what the speakers can do on max was emitted from my speakers (?). It was so loud I didn't know if my apartment was being bombed or what but needless to say it scared a few (or several) grey hairs into existence. All sound on my computer then died after maybe 5 seconds of the loud boom that sounded like speaker blow out. I went back to iTunes, turned the sound down and then up and now the computer is playing like nothing happened. This ever happened to anyone else? Should I be concerned there is something wrong with my laptop other than it's crappy sense of humor??

Same thing just happened with my macbook...
now the sound coming from iTunes at max is about half what it was 10 min ago.
This something I can correct or should I let applecare take care of this?
