Hi,

I know that this question is too mainstream when asking for guidelines in buying the right macbook pro. I am a web developer and want to learn iOS development also. I saw someone selling a 13" macbook pro with these specification.

Intel 2.26GHz Core2Duo
8GB DDR3 PC1333Mhz
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256MB
OSX 10.8.2 Mountain Lion
160GB Intel SSD

Do you think it is worth buying for $700? I usually open:

Google Chrome
MAMP
Cyberduck
Titanium Studio
iOS Simulator
xCode
Adium
Twitter
Mail
Colloquy

Thanks for the replies!

Thanks guys, maybe I'll just save more pennies and go for i5 or i7 as you've said. But with the apps I listed that I open frequently do you think 8GB is a little bit too much?

That is an okay amount of RAM, not too much, and with the 2011 MBPs you can upgrade to 16 GB of RAM, if you need to.
