I have a SR MBP as stated in the title. My battery has 30 cycles and the health is down to 92%. I calibrate the battery about once a month as apple recommends. Just curious to what you think and whether this is an issue or not considering recent events with batteries. Thanks.

It doesn't matter how many times you calibrate. It's a simple fact that the cells in a Li-ion battery die over time.

The MBP is 10 months old. I know 31 cycles is nothing for that time period but now the capacity is down to 89% from 92% this morning. it seems to be dropping like a rock recently (3 weeks). I am the original owner of the MBP. I was curious to see if anyone else was experiencing something like this themselves. I have read other posts where apple replaced their batteries but their situation was much more dramatic. is this how the "bad batteries" begin to fail?
