Hello!
Currently saving up for a Macbook Pro in June, but at the minute im just looking around for some stands that i'm having trouble finding!
I'm in England and there can't seem to be a good place to see a fair few good ones.
Any ideas?
Many thanks

I use the Rain mStand and love it

If looking for a stand to use as a desktop unit (lid closed), check out BookArc on Amazon or Best Buy. It's not cheap but is of high quality and fits all Macbook models.

The mStand seems to be the best bet. The EcofanPro looks....unique lol, but im not keen on the additional fan, i'd want the noise to a minimum.

The BookArc is a wonderful choice if you're wanting to use your MBP in clamshell mode ... but you didn't say that was your intention. As the previous poster said, the BookArc is a terrific product, albeit expensive. If you need to use the MBP with the display open, the mStand is probably your best bet.

Height?

I am considering mStand for purchase in near future...

To anyone who has Rain Design mStand with 15 inch MBP:

How high is the top of your MBP screen (when lid is opened perpendicularly to the base) from the base? Also, how high is the lowest point of the stand that holds the laptop from the base?

Thanks in advance!

I use the Mstand as well, its perfect!

Positions the notebook and instantly turns it into an imac!

When using my 15" with the Mstand, I still have to look a little down at the screen (my nose would be even with the top of the screen) but if I adjust my chair down a bit, my nose would be at the center of the 15" display if not a little higher.

Can you give me some measurements (in metric or in inches)? I need to know how high the built-in iSight camera is with respect to the base. Thanks thousands!
