Hi There, I have a Macbook Pro and have been using a min Displayport to HDMI adapter for a while now with my LG tv and it works brilliantly. I have just bought a new Panasonic TV, when I connect it up like before I just get a black screen on the Panasonic, if I restart the mac sometimes a picture comes up on the TV but the colours are all wrong and the picture doesn't fit the screen properly. Then if you try to change a setting it just goes back to be being black! Would anybody be able to help. Thanks a lot.

If you have a newer mac with graphics switching and you have gfxcardstatus installed you need to put it in nvidia only mode so that it can use the display out. Hope this helps. This was bugging me a bit ago.

Hi there, yer I have switched to just the 9400m integrated graphic and it works now (although overscan seems to cut off the top and bottom of the screen) but if I switch to the more powerful 9600m it doesn't work! any ideas why not. Thanks
