MBP TouchBar issue - works but not showing

As per title.... my 2017 MBP 15" has just developed a fault where by the right hand side is not visible, but works if touched.... showing the volume and brightness is missing.
Can anyone help?

A hardware fault, take it to Apple, to get their opinion and a quote for the repair.

It's just the back light that has gone out. Probably the price wouldn't warrant the repair. I can guess where the buttons are.... just annoying.

My guess is a new top case at 700 USD, so yes, you are probably correct, not worth it. No Apple Care I assume?
