hey all,

I did a search on the forum and the web and have found no easy fix for the macbook pro touchpad malfunction. The malfunctioning being that it "double/triple" clicks and it feels as if it's on a see-saw. Not sure what's happening...I've only had the MBP for 12 months.

I've tried the origami trick (doesn't work), i've tried to clean it out with paper method (doesn't work), and I've taken the top off to clean it with air duster (doesn't work). It's too bad I didn't purchase APPLE CARE so they can replace it.

It's kind of disheartening that my 36 month old Thinkpad T43 is working flawlessly and a 12 month old MBP is already having hardware issues. Frustrated!!!!!!

HELP!
