Sorry for such a direct thread but I just had to voice how much I love the glass trackpad on the MBPs. Usually, I tend to use the keyboard to navigate my way around any computer but on my MBP, I'm finding myself using the trackpad for tasks I could do far quicker via the keyboard, purely because of how wonderful it is.

Does anyone else have similar love for the glass trackpad?

yes the multi touch trackpad is one of the main reasons i went with an apple laptop. i've tried at least 10+ laptops the past two years and no one does it better.

i just got my MBP with the all-in-one trackpad
simply the best innovation in laptops in a long, long time

i'm writing a blog post about it. it's simply awesome

I took me a while to get used to because the buttons are basically the bottom corners and usually i keep a thumb over one of the buttons so whenever I moved the mouse it zoomed in and out. after I got used to it though I don't think I'll be using another trackpad again.

Yeah I love it to. I tried to use a laptop without it, I was getting pissed. But yeah, its awesome. What I dont get is why they didnt put the clicky part on the part?

The only complaint I have is that when you are dragging something, and you hit the edge of the trackpad but still need to move it further, it takes a bit of finger work to get it done. Other than that, it has turned out much better than I expected.

I find that I'm trying to swipe on my iMac keyboard now. I do wish they had a keyboard with a nice trackpad lke this.
