hi all,

I'm assuming this is another part of the keyboard woes of recent news... however, my trackpad on my MBP just randomly stops responding. Or, it registers that I'm trying to selct everything, and everytime i move te mouse it is creating a click+drag state. Anyone else have this issue?

You didn't mention the year of model. But if it's old enough, this could be the sign of a failing battery, which can swell and cause wonky trackpad behavior.

As well, I have had an experience where my mouse is in my backpack. The switched got jostled on, and the trackpad was just crazy. Check BT and see if anything is connected.

Sorry, I forgot to include that this is a Touch Bar MacBook Pro... I should check into that! But, it does seem a little early in its life cycle for a swollen battery? Good thought!
