MBP Unibody (late 2008) 2,53Ghz & 8Gb of RAM

Can some one report if the late 2008 unibody 2,53Ghz Can now Run stable with 8Gb of RAM in the latest Build of snowleopard?
I what to see my MBP like this:

Parallels needs a lot of RAM to work with windows largest programs

If I am not mistaken, that's a mid 2009 with the 2.53. The late 2008 can't handle 6 gigs from what I understand.
