he probably means a screen protector that appears black when not viewed from the front, so others next to you cannot see what you are looking at.

After some searching around, I still can't figure out what the filter screen is exactly called. I know that banks use them on their computer screens.
 
What do you mean privacy screen?

a film you put on the glass to prevent people from looking at your screen. i found a few but im interested to know if anyone had a good experience with a certain brand/product.

edit: heard mixed reviews about various products that don't fit the mbp quite right, hopefully can find one that fits well.

Here is one from 3M that I have seen in person. It looks nice but it is extremely expensive if purchased directly from them. I would give a MBP a nasty good look.
