Just curious. Does apple usually update everything in November?

I am waiting to buy a MBP with Leopard already installed. But, I thought I read here that apple usually re-freshes their line-up right before the holiday season.

Nothing to update the MBP to right now. Penryn is coming out in January. MBP will be updated then.

Any Macs sold after Leopard's release (apart from existing stock in the Apple Stores, if any) will come with it installed. However, I do not expect to see the MacBook Pro line refreshed until Q1 2008 at the earliest. Given the delay seen between Core 2 Duo's release and it actually shipping in a MacBook Pro I'd give Penryn low odds of actually being released in a MacBook Pro at MacWorld. It might be demonstrated, however.
