MBP Upgrade Help

I have a 15 Inch, 2011 MBP with a 2.3GHz Quad-Core and 4GB RAM. I was going to purchase the 2.0GHz model and upgrade RAM and HD with the remaining money but I figured I might as well go all the way since I can't upgrade processor and Graphics card later while I could upgrade RAM and HD whenever. With that said, I'm curious as to which memory brand is best for RAM and SSDs respectively now that I've saved up enough (I think..).

I'm looking for 8GB of RAM since I plan to use VM software. Any suggested brands? Regarding the HD, I'm looking for an SSD with about 120+GB of space. I don't 'need' the SSD but it would be nice to have. Any feedback would be great.

RAM brand really doesn't matter much. If you're in the US, here is about the cheapest you'll find it. You can also browse around to look at SSDs and see which have the best reviews. I have heard the Intel 320 is about as reliable as it gets, and is one of the less expensive ones.
