I'm thinking about upgrading from 32 to 64 bit Vista on my Penryn Macbook Pro.

Did you guys have any issues installing the modded INF drivers on Vista 64? Have to use any trickery to get it working, or does it just work like normal?

I ask because Vista 64 famously will refuse to install unsigned drivers, and the drivers from laptopvideo2go.com are modified to work on all laptops. I get a few warning messages on Vista 32, but they install anyway and work great. I'm worried that they'll totally fail to install on the 64-bit version.

I install the drivers from the website; no issues; just make sure you install the x64 drives not the x86 drivers.

I've been trying to read up on this but I'm not entirely clear on one issue:

Are the modded drivers still technically "signed" by nVidia even though the INFs have been modified? I suppose that would explain why they'd still work on the 64-bit Vista. Is it true?

my disc from Microsoft should arrive soon.

Is there anything I should be aware of before upgrading?
