Hi

I got a problem!!!

My first usb port (the lead usb port) is stopped working. :(

I acedentally put a usb hub with 12v power supply in it, into my MBP.

It is a 15" MacBook Pro mid 2010 2,53ghz i5. (it's the one with a ssd slot)

Any suggestion of what to do?

ps. I have treid to run a hardware test on it but it didn't came with any result.

Hope for some useful help.

Did you even try to plug a flash drive into it? The front port provides less power, there is no way around it. From what Ive read anyways.

here is a screenshot of some Error that has come.

And i did NOT have anything in my usb port at that time.

How?

reset PRAM:Option-cmd-R-P ?
reset smc: Ctrl-option-cmd ?

Both while power up right?

If you have a Core i5 MBP, it is new enough that it has its original manufacturer's warranty. Take it in to the apple store or call them. They will fix it. Are you sure you don't have a Core 2 Duo?

i am 100% sure.

i would just here if there was something i could do my self. But tanks alot everybody ;)
