Hello, im asking MBP users whit glossy screen. Ar you happy whit glossy screen? if no whats the problem?

Love my glossy screen. I was hesistant, but it just looks so much richer.

My only regret is not getting the HD version, which I'll do next time.

I have a 17" MBP with the high-res glossy. Love it. I've used the matte screens, but MUCH prefer the glossy.

thank you all and keap posting please.
i realy whant to buy glossy screen but don't now if will be hapy whit it.

Been a long time matte user and after a brief flirtation with the air, I dug the glossy. Well, this new MBP 2.4 GHz came with the glossy and I love it. So much richer and vibrant looking.

I use it in an office environ with those awful florescent lights and I am having no reflection issues at all.

A+

It's all about preference, so I would check out an Apple store and compare the two. Both are great and you shouldn't have worries about the glossy.

I have a powerbook with a matte and I opted for a glossy on my new MBP - it looks fantastic, esp since it can get very bright with the LED

I'm a Designer so I tend to stick with the Matte Screen,
but for everything else Glossy is better, colors are more Saturated
Vibrant and Bright. So your pictures and clips will look more beautiful.

I only wish that apple made Matte screens with more Brightness, I had
a 4 year old Sony VAIO that is more Bright than the new MBP!

Even the Air is brighter

I just picked up a 15" MBP with a glossy screen and it's nice. I use to have a 17" MBP that has the matte screen and the whole display just kinda looked "blah". my 15" glossy has much brighter and crisper colors.

I started loving glossy screens since my Dell XPS m170 came with one.
Ever since then all my laptops have come with glossy, and I would never go back to dull unsaturated matte again. Glossy makes the screen "pop", and I'm willing to trade that for the occasional annoying reflection/glare.

Couldn't handle the glossy

I had a second gen macbook, which I LOVED except for the glossy screen which I couldn't stand. Had the sell it, now looking at a new MBP to get back on the mactopy bandwagon.

FWIW, I found the glossy so overly distracting and annoying it hurt my eyes after about 10-15 minutes of use, and I WANTED to LOVE IT.

i love the one on my MBP, but hate the one on my iMac. the iMac is glass which acts like a mirror, i think Apple should have at least applied some type of anti=glare coating on the glass. The MBP is not nearly as reflective and I rarely get distracted by glare. i use it in darker surroundings though, if i used it in an office with overhead fluorescents might be a different story.
