So, I bought this 1 1/2 year old MBP off of a friend who got a brand new one, Worked great. Then last night I went to go turn it on, and wasn't getting anything on the screen... I could hear the hard drive spinning and working, So I restarted etc. And, now... It turns on from time to time but I have no airport, no sound.

And, I got this error at the startup that basically states OS X restarted or whatever and had an error.

And, from scanning it, it looks like the video card caused the problem.

I keep seeing ATIRADEONX1000 in it. If I could post it, I would. But, alas.
I am on a friends laptop. (com.apple.atiradeonx1000)

I don't think it's still under apple care, and I do not have original startup discs (my friend has them, but couldn't find them when I bought it.)

Am I totally SOL?

The video card would not prevent your wireless networking and sound from working.

You can check the warranty status of your computer with the serial number. Even if it's not under warranty, I'd still say take it in.

A quick update, computer starts up every time.

Still no sound or airport.

Tried the battery out 10 second power button thing,

tried resetting PRAM. Nothing..

Anyone, any ideas?
