Hi,
I bought a brand new MacBook Pro from PC World about 3 weeks ago but had to send it back as the superdrive failed. Just last week I got my replacement brand new.
Today I went into this site http://www.appleserialnumberinfo.com.
I typed my serial number and on the information I got it told me that my MacBook Pro was built in october 2009 and the warranty finishes in October 2010
This cannot be as I got my MacBook Pro brand new in this month and usually it comes with a 1 year warranty not 10 months.
I always thought the 1 year warranty started from the date the MacBook Pro was bought not built.
Please advise
