Hey,

Why do I boot with 1.05gb of ram wired?

Is this normal?

I have similar, so maybe it's normal. I only have Chrome open and Twitter app, that's it:

Wired memory

Information in this memory can't be moved to the hard disk, so it must stay in RAM. The amount of Wired memory depends on the applications you are using.
