I have the 2016 Base model 13" rMBP. I started the monitor after having closed down a game so it was fairly hot. It's connected to an external 1080p monitor and is therefore powering 2 displays. Lowest speed I've seen is in the 1100's. At that speed I can't even hear the fan running even when having my ear 5cm above the keyboard. I actually though the fan wasn't running.

Yeah that 128c motherboard reading must be wrong. No way its that hot. The gpu is included in the CPU so it should be close to the CPU temps. I have the Space Gray one.
[doublepost=1478349813][/doublepost]Update: Just checked in, and the fan has now stopped. The monitor is now not reporting any fan RPM. Even while connected to the external monitor.
