MBP won't boot

I just turned on my MBP, it goes to a grey screen then a folder with a question mark in it appears (flashes)...but nothing happnes?

Any ideas whats going on or how to fix it?

Disk corruption
Failed Disk
Messed up file system

Do I need a new hdd or should reinstall OSX????

I would try to reinstall OSx first. Then call Apple and consider your other options.
