MBP won't connect to my wireless router!

Help! Just installed a dlink Router and my mbp won't connect. It shows a strong signal, but won't connect. Security is disabled, so it's not that. My windows machines, ipad, android phone/pad - everything connects except my macbook. Any ideas?

I found someone with a similar problem, and they said the Bluetooth was it.
They tried a few things here that you can look at.

Finally got it to work. I disabled dhcp and manually assigned an ip address. Not elegant, but it's the only thing that worked.
