MBP won't "fully" connect to the internet.

Hello all.
My roommate and I just formatted and updated to 10.6.7
His mac downs at around 20megs
Mine only downs at 2megs.
This is very annoying and I can't find anything wrong.
I changed the location, and DNS server.
The firewall is off.
I don't what else to do.
HELLPPP!!!

What versions of MBPs (and year) do you both have?
Assuming you're both connected using wireless, are you both using the same version of 802.11, and also the same wireless network?
Are both your MBPs in the same location (ie. next to each other) when you're doing your speed comparisons?
Are you downloading from the same source and at the same time?

I have a late 2009
He has a early 2009.

Mine's a uni-body and his isn't.

Both wireless. What is 802.11??
I did speed test from different parts of the apartment
ie. Next to each other, away from each other, in different rooms.

Just did another speed test and it dropped again.
I'm at .32 megs down now.

I'll do the test separate if that's what you mean.
I have a ****** wireless router but he's still getting a million times
better connection then me.
