MBP Won't recognize Mouse??

My MBP 17" Mid 2009 won't recognize the Mouse. Also won't recognize an additional Mouse that I have. Both work on our other MBP.

Any ideas or "fixes" I can try?

Tried using another USB port? Checking if you can get something else to work on the same USB port? Because it could well be a busted USB port.

Sorry forgot to mention...it is a wireless Apple Mouse...

Turns out that Bluetooth was OFF and the turn bluetooth button would not work.

Apple support had me "reset" the "chip"...pushed a few buttons when the computer was off...said it reset the antennas...also did another reset upon start up.

Now working fine.
