Hey all,

I have a "classic" macbookpro and recently when i try to go to apple, shutdown nothing happens. Same with Restart, Log off. I have to hold the power button down just to restart?!?! what's going on!!!:confused:

Has your machine been running slow lately? Lots of freezing/beachballing? What you're describing might be a hard drive issue. If your data isn't backed up, back it up now. If you can, boot from the software install disk and run disk utility on your internal drive. See if it will verify.
