I have a brand new 13 inch Macbook Pro (latest model) that won't shut down properly. When I go to the menu and select shut down, it seems to work ok but then when I close the lid, the sleep indicator light comes on. The next time I try to power it on (hours later), it won't power on until I plug it in because the battery is dead.
I've only had it for a day so far. The first thing I did when setting it up was to transfer my home folder and applications from my previous computer over from my external drive by using the Migration Assistant. I don't think these files would affect it since they're not at the operating system level. Did I get a lemon?
