hey guys,

so ever since i updated to leopard, the first time i close the lid on my MBP it will do into deep sleep. great. i want it to do that. however, if i open it power it back up, then close the lid again, i am unable to wake it up and actually have to just reboot the computer.

i've also noticed that when ever the computer goes into deep sleep, the indicator light on the latch that opens the lid glows a faint "grey" color, whereas whenever i close it a second time, the light glows a bright white.

any thoughts?

thanks in advance

What version of Leopard are you using (to check, click the Apple in the top left hand corner and choose, About This Mac)? Which MBP do you have?

You can check the Console (Applications -> Utilities) and click the system.log and look around for an event that coincides in time with either the power up or power down of your machine. That may give you some insight into what's going on.
