MBP XP External KB Problems

I have a small problem. I live off of my number pad on my external Apple Keyboard. While in windows if I have num lock on so I can punch some numbers easily it makes it so I can't ty*e very we33. 5t 5s very ann6y5ng. I always have to turn num lock off so I can type normally. Is there any way around this?

I also have Input Remapper installed. Maybe that is the problem?
