I think to upgrade my hdd to SSD, my mbp (13" 2011 i5) have sata2 (3 gb) or sata3 (6 gb) ?

And another thing, I see here LOTS of posts that recommend on SSD, but only few talking about the sleep mode problem. someone can please explain to me what is the problem and how the original SSD from apple don't have this problem?

Thanks!

From what I've read the HDD SATA port is 6gbps and the DVDROM drive is 3gbps.

so what are my options right now? just the crucial c300?

At this point the SATA III choices are C300 or Intel 510 SSD. Crucial seems to have a little better speed in tests. I went for the Intel 510 hoping Intel's compatibility/stability on their previous drives would continue with this model. I have had not problems with the 510, but others have. Same for the C300. It just seems to vary from user to user.
