MBP16 won't sleep with external display

Hello
Like in the subject, when my MPB 16 is attached to an external monitor via hub it doesn't want to go to sleep but when I remove HDMI from the hub it goes after a while.
Maybe someone knows some fix for that problem?
I would be very grateful.

This happens after you only close the lid, or if you close the lid and manually put it to sleep through the apple menu?

New macOS does this automatically to enable "clamshell" mode (using the mac with external display while the mac itself is with closed lid). I have no explanation why this is not an option in the settings (just apple things).

Just press the sleep option manually from the apple menu (or your touchbar if you have it) and you should be good. If that doesn't work, then you have an actual problem with something else.
