G'day,
I have a 13" Mid-2009 Macbook Pro (MacBookPro5,5) on MacOS 10.9.5 that I use as a HTPC (Netflix and Plex) - connected via Mini DisplayPort-> HDMI/headphone jack to my TV.
It used to go to sleep after a period of inactivity, but for the past few months or so it's been staying "always on", with fans running at moderate speed.
The sleep settings haven't been changed - 15min for computer, and 15min for display. Sleep drive when possible. Wake for network.
I've tried a restart (no change), and also tried manually selling it to sleep - but it just seems to ignore the command (or goes to sleep but wakes soon thereafter, as it's always back on again).
What can I try here to get it to sleep properly again?
Thanks
cosmic
