Hi guys,

I am thinking of getting the BenQ XL2420T Professional Gaming Monitor in combination with my Mac Book Pro Retina.

I just read good review about it.

I am just wondering if the MBPR is strong enough to support this monitor.

What would I use it for:

- play games like Starcraft2, max payne3, crysis3
- work
- watch movies (how far is 3D spread, how useful is it really?)

THanks for your opinions.
:)

Since the MacBook Pro with Retina Display supports three external monitors with two displays at 2560 x 1600 pixel and one at 1920 x 1200 pixel, one measly monitor with 1920 x 1080 pixel will do just fine.
