The reason I am saying this is that I video edit occasionally, and it is not my job. I often use office, iWork, iTunes, safari, mail, and gaming. I might install boot camp to play games and run .exe apps, but I'm still not sure.
Do you think it can be useful, I might open intensive programs and multi task.
Based on my description, should I get 256 or 512?

I didn't ask for sarcasm but thanks for the smile. I said multitask , for example encoding and rendering while checking mail and watching a 720p vid.
 
I think 256GB is enough for you. I download a lot of media, so sometimes I delete some files in my Downloads folder just to keep it tidy, but really I think you'll be fine with 256GB. It's not worth the $600 for the 256GB extra unless you do photo and video editing for a living.

Also remember that you can get an NAS or an external hard drive for much less than $600 and get much more extra storage that 256GB.
