MBPr or Air and iPad?

Hi! I'm debating whether I should invest in a 15" Pro with Retina Display or purchase an Air and an iPad. I do light work in Aperture, document editing, web surfing, music listening, light video editing, and some minor, non-CPU intensive web editing. I'm leaning towards just buying a Pro right now, but does anyone have any other opinions or info that could help me out? Thanks in advance!

As someone who owns both an iPad mini and a 15" rMP, I can tell you I use my ipad for web browsing and email. I use my MacBook for intensive tasks for aperture and logic. When I say I use aperture, its for actual photo editing which killed my old MacBook. It's all in what you plan to use it for. No one can tell you what will be best for you. I know what I need which is why I have the combination I have.
