I bought my macbook pro with retina display almost a year ago.
I was always really careful with my mac, it has never fell down and when I travel with it I always put it on a case.
Yesterday when I turned it on, there was a problem on the screen. On the right side there is like a vertical black line of 1 cm (its like a small part of the screen has become black) and a (really) minor crack on the down right corner.
What shall I do? I think its a mechanical default, since I always was really careful with my laptop. Will this be covered by my warranty? (btw I live in Europe)

If they believe you that you haven't dropped it and that it was just a pressure crack then they'll help you out, but good luck
