(MBPr) Using headset's mic on Windows 8 bootcamp?

Hello,

I have just received my new headset (Klipsch Image One) and connected it in order to test the microphone with the combined 3,5mm jack the Macbook Pro 15 Retina provides and it worked like a charm. Later I tried the same on Windows 8 bootcamp and it somehow does not register the plugged in microphone. I can only use the inbuilt Macbook mic which is a pain in the a** when gaming due to the noise of the fans.

Is there any possibility to get it to work? I have searched the forums but somehow there is not much to find. :-(

I would really appreciate your help.
