I have gotten some new ideas of the timing of buying a MacBook pro retina 13
,but I am still considering whether buy it or not now.(the main reason is haswell..)

Now, I just want to ask a question: would this MBPr 13 afford to some games like call of duty...FIFA...diablo...?

If you're willing to wait a year for Haswell, then by the time Haswell rMBP's are released you might be willing to wait another year for Broadwell.


It's probably not the best purchase if your main usage is for games. It'll run older games just fine, but diablo 3 at retina resolution will probably be a bit laggy.

buy when you need, yes the HD 4000 can do some gaming on low settings

My main usege is watching movie and some photo edit ( not professional)
What about 1440x900 or 1280x800 in middle setting?would the FPS more than 25 ?

you have to use low resolutions to play games on the HD 4000. If you need now, buy now, if not haswell should bring us a good improvement, as sb to ivy brought us.
