Hi!

Getting a new screen on warranty because of bleeding in the corner.

My question is regarding the screen calibration.

Isn´t the "memory" for the screen profile stored on the machine? If so, wouldn´t my new screen use the old screen profil and make my new screen " un calibrated?"

You can calibrate the new screen and save the calibration profile via system preferences (System Preferences -> Displays -> Color).
