Hi guys,

I installed a MCE 500gb Optibay drive in my Macbook Pro. It seems to handle small files great, but when I try to copy large video files (between 2-4gb) it corrupts the file.

Specifically,

When I copy MP4 Files that were encoded using Handbrake's ATV setting.
These files play fine on my internal hard drive and fine from my external MyBook, but after copying to the MCE Drive, I get an error saying "The movie cannot be opened: An invalid public movie atom was found in the movie."

Any Ideas?

I've already tried reformatting, zeroing out the drive, verifying the disk and permissions.

I don't know what else it could be

****Edit****

There is nothing wrong with the video clip until I copy it to this particular hard drive. I can move it anywhere I want between the other two hard drives. But as soon as I move it to this one particular drive it gives me that error.

Also,

When I try to copy the file back off of the bad drive, I get this error:

"The Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "xxxxx" could not be read or written --- Error Code (-36)"

This error has nothing to do with the file that I'm transferring and everything to do with the drive

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
