I just received McKinseys newsletter and for people who do not know McKinsey, they are the worlds top consulting firm. Anyway, they announced that they will be offer their content on iPad and on tablets for Android. What is strange about this, is that in their email it includes a picture of the iPad(1) and a smaller tablet, but with a home button as the iPad - and if I am not mistaken, the home button is an Apple patent?

Its probably nothing, but still - its McKinsey :p......

no idea. I know some companies use the iPad as the universal Tablet "design" and modify slightly to show their stuff can be viewed on various size/model tablets.

I agree with BJMRamage. Generally in advertising I've seen an iPad used to represent a generic tablet. I think that's what's going on here.
