mDP to HDMI adaptor question - 2010 mbp

Does anyone know if this cable works for the 2010 MBPs to send video AND audio through hdmi?

Its the only one on newegg with any hope....the others all have plenty of reviews saying they don't work. This one has mixed reviews about audio over the mini, and none referring to the 2010 MBP.


If this one doesn't work or you aren't sure, can you direct me to a good one that does work? I know there are other threads on this, but I'm interested in ordering this specific one because I'm getting an hdd through newegg as well.

yeah the link that hyper posted does infact work as i have that 1 and tested out for someone else in the forum yesterday to see if audio out would work.

Not for me

I bought one and it doesn't work for me. I only get video out, no audio. I don't even have the option to switch my audio output
