MDP to HDMI software?

is there any software out there that will allow my MBP 15" to be a HD tuner?
i have an MDP/HDMI converter and i want to use that to play my xbox360 on my MBP is that a possibility? if so how? and/or what software would i need.

Unfortunately, that is not possible. The only Mac that can support video in is the 27" iMac.

Partially true.

There are TV tuner devices available that have video inputs, but the lag time is so bad you would not want to use it for playing games. Plus they aren't HD-they are designed for digitizing an old VHS tape for example and have composite and/or S-video inputs.
