Occasionally, mine, my cousins, and my friends iphones locate us in Medford oregon, when we are far, far from that city.

Are you sure you aren't in the Rogue Valley? Look off to East, do you see the 10K Mount McLoughlin in the distance? It's has the typical Volcano shape. Check your GPS.
Maybe you have one of the prototype transporters that allegedly were shipped accidentally. Try clicking your heels together and repeating, Medford, Oregon, Medford, Oregon...
