Media Converter

Does anyone know a good media converter, I used to use EVOM as it was great for just dropping bin folders from my instructor DVD's and converting then into mov files, but the latest version seems to have loads of problems and keeps throwing up errors.

Do you need to convert to MOV format or just convert to something widely playable?

Handbrake is the most popular convertor and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Yeah I have already have HB but won't let me convert the Bin folder, I just got my intel mac 64 bit back and EVOM works perfectly now, just dosn't work an my macbook 32 bit.
