Is there a media player out there that when you use the full screen option, that the video isn't distorted. The smaller the video screen the clearer the movie, the larger it gets more distorted. Is that just because of the compression, or is it the media player itself?

The distortion sounds like it is really just mild pixilation, am I right? If the problem is that the movies aren't excellent quality then a different type of player will have almost no affect on the final output. In other words, a movie with a low resolution will always look bad when blown up.

Having said that, I find that VLC gives me the best and most consistent playback. :)
