Media/ Videos in Background (Stage Manager)

Unfortunately my fears came true:

When you minimize a video/ media player or Safari browser with YouTube in Stage Manager and select a different window group then the media will stop playing. That’s a real bummer and takes away from a true multi-tasking experience.

Anyone know if this is different in 16.2 beta or if there’s a way to enable background media playing in Stage Manager when in a different window group?

I didn’t understand your request maybe.

I‘m looking at my favorite TV news while writing this topic… If I open YouTube it play in background and stop my TV news (it’s another app).

You‘re right, the media plays in the background within the same group of 4 windows only. Not a super huge deal for me but hopefully they change this behaviour in future releases.
