medialink and my ps3

so ive just searched the forums for my problem...not there.

i just bought a ps3 yesterday, and i just dowloaded the new medialink.

im on a wifi on my ps3, and same as my macbook.

i install medialink, start 'sharing'...nothing happens. goto the devices tab, my ps3 isnt there. i go on my ps3 to 'search for media servers' ...nothing.

upnp is enabled on all devices...what gives??!!

Try http://ps3mediaserver.blogspot.com/ instead. I had better luck with this compared to medialink.

just tried that....cant find my ps3. im over this. think its my crap belkin router. thanks anyway.

I have tried PS3 Media Server and it works ok with my old school 40GB PS3 and 17" iMac 2.0GHz. Only thing is somtimes it doesn't work well with iTunes content. Prob something to do with sharing...And that was all through an Apple Extreme Wireless Router. Hope you get it....

yeah...im over it. its gotta be the router. just going to play COD, and take out my frusteration that way.
