Mediamote question

Hi, I recently set up the Windows Media Center on my Xbox 360. I'm running Windows 7. I also downloaded a remote app called "Mediamote" for my iPhone 4g which controls the Windows Media Center. It works fine as far as controlling the media center on the PC, but on the Xbox, I still have to use the Xbox remote. Is there a way to control the media center as I see it on the TV with this remote? Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
