Are there any medical apps that are coming out at launch?

The apps will roll out. I'd imagine that a decent pdf reader would be useful. There is a lot of the books for med school out on pdf, and the kaplan series etc.
To be honest, i think that the med community is gong to go huge with the iphone - things like flash cards for the iphone, will really help with the learning. I'd imagine it's going to really help.
 
i believe epocrates is one. There was another medical app demoed at wwdc which showed a program to view xrys. Not sure when it is due.
 
All I wish is for them to have college text books on the phone. Ugh the luxury of not carrying those things around when not needed.
 
College textbooks in and of themselves are more often than not, not quite helpful at all...
 
epocrates would be really useful, but i don't see it listed anywhere except their "web version" which is not practical if you don't always have web access.

in all honesty for those soon to be medical student out there, the iphone netter atlas although pretty slick looking, will most likely not be too useful to you, but thats just my opinion.
